Student Ministry: We Believe

The Student Ministry exists to lead 6th-12th graders to love God, love people and make disciples. We look to do this through fun events, great worship, engaging Bible study, and a real sense of family in Christ.

We meet at THE ANNEX, which is located at 1132 McGee Dr, Norman, OK 73069, west of Bethel's Main Building.

Big Yearly Events include:

  • Disciple Now
D-Now is an in-town retreat in February where 6th-12th grade students stay all weekend at homes hosted by Bethel church members.  We play games, watch videos, eat, have live praise and worship, and dive deep into relevant Bible study.
  • Spring Break Trip
We alternate each year between a Mission Trip and a Ski Trip.
  • Falls Creek Summer Camp
OUR BIGGEST EVENT ALL YEAR!  This is our Summer camp at Falls Creek Baptist Assembly located near Davis, Oklahoma.
  • Fall Out
An annual Fall Retreat held at Falls Creek where students are challenged to go deeper in their faith.

Weekly Activities

We have three environments for students to know Jesus more (following safety guidelines).

  • 9:00 AM  |  Small Groups @ The Annex
Meet from 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM to connect to God's Word and each other in a more personalized setting.
  • 8:00 AM & 10:15 AM  |  Worship Service
(Meet in the Worship Center of the Main Building)
  • 6:00 PM  | Core Classes
Meet in various rooms in the Main Building from 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM on Sunday evenings for a deeper Bible Study. These classes are designed to encourage students, wherever they are in their faith, to take the next step in their walk with Jesus.

Refuel Wednesdays (School Year)

Large worship gatherings. Students have a relevant Bible study that challenges them to live what they believe, enjoy live praise and worship music, and play games.
    7:15 PM - 8:15 PM
6th - 12th grade will meet together for worship and Bible study
