Brian Dickinson
Minister of Music and Christian Arts
Brian came to know Jesus as his Savior at the age of nine as a result of a Revival service. He was raised in a pastor’s home. Brian’s father was a pastor for 30 years and a Director of Missions for 10 years before retiring in Oklahoma. “Music has always been an important part of my life and I felt that God was calling me into full time ministry when I was freshman music major at Hardin – Simmons University”.
Brian is thrilled to be serving the Lord at Bethel alongside his beautiful wife of 34 years, five children: Brandon, Daughter in law, Mackenzie, Taylor, Daughter in Law, Ashlynn, and Jessica. Grand children: Knox, 7, Adaleigh, 4, and Claire. “God’s calling in my life is leading others in biblical worship, discipleship and missions. I enjoy teaching and encouraging others in their ministry as well as facilitating in whatever is needed.” “My wife and I know the importance of Christ as Lord of our home and the incredible opportunity of serving him together in a living, growing, and disciple-making church”.
Brian believes the Bible is the inspired, infallible Word of God and applies to our lives today just as it did when it was written.
Brian enjoys the outdoors whether it is playing golf, riding motorcycles, refereeing club and High School soccer or going to OU football games with his family.
A good “war” movie is always an exciting time together with my boys and I enjoy a good “Chick Flick” as well with my girls.
