There is one and only one Living and True God, who is the Creator, Sustainer, Redeemer, and King of all things. He is infinitely Holy, completely righteous, and the same yesterday, today, and forever. This one God exists eternally in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
God the Father, as the eternal first person in the Trinity, rules and provides over all His creation. He is all-powerful, all-knowing, all-loving, and all-wise. God the Father is truly only Father to those who have become children of God through faith in Jesus Christ.
Jesus Christ is the eternal second person of the Trinity. He has always existed with God the Father and God the Holy Spirit. He became incarnate, was born of a virgin, lived a perfect life, and died on the cross paying the penalty for the sins of mankind, rose again on the third day, and is at the right had of the Father even now on behalf of believers. He is fully God and fully man, and the one Mediator between God and man, who alone reconciles us to God by His finished work. He will return in power and in glory.
God the Holy Spirit is the eternal third person of the Trinity. He convicts men of sin and calls people to Jesus as Savior and Lord. He lives in every single believer to comfort, encourage, convicts him or her, empowers for ministry, and transform each believer into the image of Jesus.
We believe that Jesus will return bodily and reign on the earth, rewarding believers and condemning those who have rejected Him.
The Holy Bible was written by men divinely inspired by God. It is God’s revelation of Himself to mankind and therefore the supreme and final standard for all matters of faith, doctrine, religious opinions, and Christian living. It is perfect and inerrant, totally true and trustworthy. It reveals who God is, who mankind is, why we need salvation, what Jesus has done to redeem us, and how we are to live as believers.
Mankind is the special creation of God, created in the Image of God, unique among all creation. This means all people have worth, dignity, and value. However, Mankind also fell into sin making all people now sinners by birth and by choice. Therefore, all people are under condemnation and in need of redemption found only in Jesus.
Because all people are sinners, under condemnation, and in need of redemption, salvation is the rescue accomplished by Jesus from what our sin had earned us. Salvation is a free gift of God, given to all who make the conscious personal decision to turn from their rebellion against God and to turn to Jesus trusting Him as Savior and Lord. A person is saved/made right with God by grace through faith apart from any works. Jesus holds on to all true believers, keeping them eternally secure.
Marriage is defined in the Bible as the sacred and permanent union of one man and one woman freely and fully committed to each other, and each other only, for life. It is the only Biblical place for sexual expression according to Biblical standards, and for the procreation of the human race.
Children, from the moment of conception, are a gift from the Lord. Therefore they are to be received with joy and have worth, dignity, and value, just as their parents do. Parents are the primary Spiritual leaders for their children and are therefore to lead their children to follow the Lord in everything. Children are commanded to honor and obey their parents.
