This is a wonderful time of celebration and giving thanks to the Lord. On Sunday morning, November 19, Bethel will have Sunday School Small Group Bible Study at 9:30 AM and then come together in ONE COMBINED Worship Service at 10:45 AM in the main Sanctuary.
After the Worship Service, we will move to The Annex where we will eat Thanksgiving and Christmas food together in celebration of all the Lord has done! There will be multiple serving lines, so you should be able to get your food and sit within minutes of arriving at the Annex. The entire meal will be catered, so it should be hot and ready when we arrive!
- 9:30 AM Sunday School
- 10:45 AM ONE COMBINED Worship Service
- Meet at the Annex after the Worship Service for a Merry Thanksgiving catered meal and fellowship
- High chairs will be available for small children
- Videos highlighting Bethel Baptist Church will play during the meal
Merry Thanksgiving is an opportunity to get to know people in our church by sharing a meal with them. This year as you leave the sanctuary, each family will receive a swatch of holiday-colored paper: either red, green, yellow, orange, or brown. At the Annex there will be groups of tables decorated with these colors. We invite you to sit at tables decorated with your color. Within your color group, I encourage you to sit with your family at a table with people from a different age group or with another person/family you may not know very well. At each table there will be holiday-themed questions that can serve as conversation starters.
We have cleared the calendar of all other events on this day so that we, as a church, can spend time with the Lord and with each other, giving thanks and fellowshipping. Take your time to eat, laugh, talk and enjoy one another's company, and rejoice and give thanks for all that God has done for us!
