Palm Sunday

Sunday, March 25 | 10:15 AM | Sanctuary, Main Building
Palm Sunday is the day we remember the entry of Jesus into Jerusalem and the people cheering and waving palm branches. Bethel's children will have their Palm Parade in the Worship Service in the Main Building Sanctuary.

Participating children and parents will line up in the west side Foyer/Hallway at 10:00 AM after Small Group Bible Studies and will be given their palm branches at that time.

Easter Sunday

Sunday, April 1
Celebrate Easter Sunday and Jesus' Resurrection with Bethel Baptist Church. Childcare will be available for birth through pre-kindergarten for both the 8:00 AM and 10:15 AM Easter Worship Services.

Special Bethel Easter Sunday activities include:

  • Children, birth - 5th grade, will receive special gifts during Sunday School.  
  • Students, 6th - 12th grade, will have a special 9:00 AM BIG breakfast in The Annex with pancakes, donuts, coffee, juice, and chocolate milk.

Senior Adult Potluck Dinner

Everyone is welcome to attend the Senior Adult Ministry Potluck Dinner. Bring an entree and side dish or dessert to share. Join us for great food, fun, and fellowship with special guest Larry Shearer who is a prolific rock and mineral collector and will be sharing with us about this hobby and his collection.

  • We want to encourage you to bring commissary items for Boys Ranch Town to the basket in your Sunday School class or to our next Potluck Supper.

Weekly Community Prayer Time

Tuesdays | 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM | Eden Clinic
Every Tuesday Bethel Baptist Church hosts a Community Prayer Time at Eden Clinic. Everyone is welcome to come to pray or come for prayer. Stay for ten minutes or for the entire hour. Bring your friends and co-workers! You may submit prayer requests to Bethel through an online form link as well. Eden Clinic is located at 1807 W. Lindsey Street, Norman, OK 73069, next to KFC.

"Mom and Me" Play Dates

Thursday's | 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM | Bethel's KidZone
We will not meet during spring break, March 22.

“Mom and Me” Play dates at the KidZone (1320 W. Lindsey) will take place every Thursday from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM. This is an indoor play area where moms can come and connect with other moms while their children have a safe place to play. 

English as a Second Language (ESL)

NOTE: ESL will not meet during Spring Break, Tuesday, March 20.

Bethel provides Tuesday ESL classes in the Norman community for those where English is not their first language. Join us at any time, we meet from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM. We are located at 1717 West Lindsey, Norman, OK 73069. Park in the east parking lot, enter at the main doors by ringing the door bell, and office staff will provide assistance. Classes for men and women are offered free of charge with childcare provided as needed.

When disasters strike like Hurricanes Harvey, Irma, and Maria we are often filled with many questions as to how we can help in a practical way. We love our neighbors in Texas, Florida, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. We want to help them recover from these tragedies. But how can we help in ways that will make a real difference for those in need?
