Bethel Outdoor Adventures (BOA)
Bethel Outdoor Adventures (BOA) primarily focuses on boys from 1st-12th grade, to teach them basic outdoor skills and provide venues for them to practice those skills. Part of this focus is to give dads and their sons time together to build memories and form strong bonds with each other.
We do this through learning together, practicing skills together, playing together, and spending our most valuable resource, our personal time, together. Dads do not have to be outdoorsmen to participate.
The BOA committee members have completed background checks and have the skills to help you and teach you how to enjoy your time outdoors. If a boy wants to participate in an overnight activity, he must be accompanied by a parent, or an adult of the parent’s choosing. We heartily encourage moms and sisters and other family and church members to participate with us, as they feel comfortable.
We would be thrilled to have you participate in the family events that we have scheduled. Girls are welcome to participate in the classes and day activities. If a girl wants to participate in an overnight activity, she must be accompanied by a parent, or an adult of the parent’s choosing.
